Interest in CNG Vehicles Grows in East Texas, but Infrastructure Still Issue

The reason a business would commit resources to convert its fleet to run on compressed natural gas is simple.

“Saving money,” Art Hughes, chief accounting officer for Buffco Production, said at a compressed natural gas summit in Longview this past week. “We operate two drilling rigs and a number of trucks, and CNG could make operating both of them cheaper.”
